This is the official site for the
Farmington Fire & Rescue Department. The Farmington
Fire Department was established in 1855 and it is
responsible for approximately 45 Sq. miles. There
are 6000+ residents in the town of Farmington.
Farmington Fire & Rescue is in
the great state of New Hampshire. We are located in
Strafford County.
We operate out of one (1) firehouse and our members
protect the residents and businesses located in Farmington.
Farmington is a town rich with history.
The Farmington Fire & Rescue has been helping
the community throughout the years.
Farmington NH is the home of a son
of national repute. Born in Farmington on February
16, 1812, Henry Wilson rose from a childhood of
poverty and indentured servitude to become Vice
President of the United States under Ulysses S.
Grant.
Farmington is proud of its past,
but always looks to and plans for the future. Today,
Farmington is a healthy mix of industrial, retail,
and service sector business, with a robust downtown
that still reflects its past in a quaint and attractive
setting. The members of the Farmington Fire &
